It’s a New New Media World!

September 20, 2008 · Filed Under new media · Comment

We have finally released our trio of reports focusing on Vlogcasting, Micro Media and Satellite Content Sites. There are a few options available for getting hold of them, but let’s break them down:

Vlogcast Domination.

Imagine a set up where you write one piece of content and it is automactically pinged to the search engines, shows up on your twitter feed informing your followers of your new post and then pops up all over the internet on various websites and blogs. This report incorporates some content from our previous ‘Blog Blitz’ report. I really wanted to highlight to power of combining these new media elements.

Satellite Love.

Getting Organic Search Engine Natural Traffic is essential if you don’t want to shell out vast sums of money on Google Adwords and other paid advertising. Valuable backlinks also play a part as the more of those ‘authority’ sites linking to you, the more that valuable Google juice brings you visitors looking for your services and products.

Micro Media Marketing.
Make Micro Media Marketing the latest cutting-edge weapon in your Web 2.0 Armoury for Maximum Profits. Well Twitter is certainly gaining a foothold and is a superb way to build realtionships with mavens of your niche and a following. Jaiko, Tumblr and Pownce are all similiar Micro networks that need your attention, but do it the wrong way and you’re likely to get banned from them.

Master Resale Rights and Salespages are available for all these reports at New New Media World for an absolute steal! (You will be offered these for just $27 after purchasing the personal rights)

If you’re an affiliate there is also a taster report that you can rebrand with your link for instant Paypal commissions! You can grab that right here, but it’s included in the package of course.

Alternatively you could just upgrade to Gold membership at FMB which is still a measly $47 for lifetime membership which gives you access, not just to all the other web 2.0 and social media reports and resources we give you, but videos, excel sheets data, audios and reports mostly with rights so you can profit right away)..and of course these new trio of new media marketing reports!

I will be looking at this Gold member offer as soon as I get a few hours over the next few days and it will definately be GOING UP..probably $97, $147 or something as it’s currently completely under valued at the moment.

So join FMB and go for Gold..or buy direct from NNMW..Let us know your feedback on the reports!

Twitter Connections

FMB will have a great series of reports for the Gold Plus members coming up very soon including Micro Media Marketing. It took a while longer than we thought but the latest craze of Twitter is well and truely covered in there.

Let me re-phrase..latest craze? ok we wouldn’t recommend you just follow latest crazes but services such as Twitter are great for conversations, enhancing your reputation and building relationships.

Don’t just jump on there and follow millions of people, choose the ones that have influence and provide your own tweets with worthwhile breaking news in your own niche.

You can also use tools such as Twitter Tools or Twitterfeed to automate the process of adding blog post links to Twitter, in fact Troy Wray just gave me a heads up on Tweet My blog as well..at initial glance it looks pretty darn good.

If you post to your blog a lot you may be in danger of overwhelming your readers - if that’s the case try just using your best blog posts and submit those. Readers will just be put off by a whole list of blog links with no conversation. The worst tool we saw on someone’s twitter account recently was a ‘currently browsing’ plugin from FireFox…yes every website was listed on this guy’s feed…don’t go there.

Look out for our report onTwitter which guides you through the whole process with some revealing tactics to making the most of it!

New Media Marketing Plan Part 5 - Video Syndication

July 8, 2008 · Filed Under New Media Blueprint, Video · 1 Comment

Creating a video for distribution to the video sharing directories is another ‘killer’ strategy. You can create a video very easily just using the free software on your PC – windows movie maker or imovie on the mac. Use still images to create a video with your website URL included.

If you’re selling products use screen capturing video software to show pictures of your products or to do a ‘how to ‘ video around your product.

Screencast software such as
Camtasia.(Techsmith.com) is excellent or if you can’t afford that go for Camstudio.org (open source and free). For ease of use and value try the Flip camcorder for live video – high quality and ‘stupid’ simple!

Real Simple Syndication is an excellent way to feed out your content. You can set one up manually or through any number of online providers. We recommend you set up a blog (which you should do anyway) and use the RSS address from that through a service such as Feedburner - see also a short post about setting up Feedburner here.

Submit your feed to the following directories:

BulkFeeds - submit an rss feed
Ping-O-Matic - rss feed submissions (pings site)
News is Free - submit an rss feed
pubsub - submit an rss feed
popdex - submit an rss feed
RSSfeeds - submit a feed
Feedster - submit your RSS feed
Syndic8 - submit RSS feeds
Feedminer - post your RSS feed or blog
RSS Shut - post your RSS feed
Blogbridge -

More Content Submissions

Getting content out on the web can be pretty time consuming with creating content, but in terms of backlinks it’s essential

Create a series of Squidoo lenses with an article on your niche topic along with at least three modules to make sure you don’t break their rules!

Cruise other lenses on your topic and leave helpful comments linking back to your lens.

Join hubpages and again create a series of hubs all with relevant content and modules. Try to vary the content from the Squidoo lenses – Google will know if you’re just duplicating content.

Check out several other hubpages in your niche and helpfully answer or comment, linking back to your hubpage(s) using keyword as anchor text.

Create an informative Blog at Blogger.com on your niche topic and link back to your URL with the keyword anchor text.

Create an informative Blog at LiveJournal on your niche topic and link back to your URL with the keyword anchor text.

Create an informative Blog at Yahoo360 on your niche topic and link back to your URL with the keyword anchor text.

Create an informative Blog at Windows Live Spaces on your niche topic and link back to your URL with the keyword anchor text.

Create an informative Blog at wordpress.com on your niche topic and link back to your URL with the keyword anchor text.

Post a PDF version of your article and content to FreeIQ

Create an account at Zimbio and add an article with a link back using your chosen keyword as anchor text.

Create an account at Helium and add an article with a link back using your chosen keyword as anchor text.

Find out the top forums in your niche and sign up. Create a signature linking back to your main URL with the anchor text as a keyword.

Posting intelligent or useful posts, helpfully answer or contribute to other posts.

Widgets are a fantastic way to distribute your RSS feed content.

Create a widget at Widgetbox and SpringWidgets using your RSS feed

A New Media Marketing Plan? Part 1

May 28, 2008 · Filed Under New Media Blueprint · Comment

Since the rise of social media and web 2.0 as marketing tools, the options available for marketing and promoting your product or service has exploded! This guide will focus on a blueprint to effectively use new media marketing to drive traffic and sales to your ‘money’ page. We’ll give you the resources for article marketing directories, press release links, social bookmarking, video directories, rss directories.

Lots of work? Absolutely. But there are many automated tools that make life so much easier. To further expand your business you should consider outsourcing these tasks in future. Click here for Outsourcing Resources

Where to start?
Firstly you will need to know what keyword you are targeting and whether there is search engine demand for that keyword, secondly whether there is a manageable number of search engines results to make it worthwhile trying to compete.

If you are selling organic food delivery for example then your anchor text in your links needs to say that search term as opposed to a web address.

<a href=”yourdomain.com”>Organic Food Delivery</a>

With some quality content written you can create a network of blog posts, articles, press releases and social marketing content. Advanced marketers may vary the anchor text keyword. You will also find different social media sites have different ways of creating anchor text links, some allow HTML code, some don’t.

Research
Go to:
http://tools.seobook.com/keyword-tools/seobook/

type in a keyword related to your niche. I.e. organic food
then look for longer tail keywords that have a decent amount of daily searches in the Google column.

Take that search term and paste into the Google search box in quotes and look at the amount of results found on the right hand side. If it’s around 30,000 and below and had 30+ searches a day then it’ll be easier to target.

You can also use:
Keywordspy.com to see what your competitors are up to.
http://www.keywordsanalyzer.com/
http://freekeywords.wordtracker.com/

When you have two or three good keywords that describe your product or service well use these in a pack of content for distribution.

Create an article with the keyword in the title (not too long) and integrate it in the body two or three times. Then create a compelling resource box with an keyword anchored link to your money page.
Create a couple of compelling blog posts, again using a different keyword for each one. Make sure your images and alt tags also reflect your keywords. Google uses various different databases such as images, video, blogs, news etc so keyworded images, for example will be picked up. So called Google Universal search is beginning to display content from the different databases in the main search results.

So you’ll need your content online to link to, whether that’s a blog, website.

Blogs are ideal because they can get high traffic and search engines love them because of the new and updating content they provide. A quick set up can be found at blogger.com or wordpress.com. Ideally you want to host it yourself though by installing from wordpress.org.

These first three methods are pretty old school, BUT still very effective and so provide a solid grounding for your marketing blueprint incoming links.

Where are you now Wayn?

May 15, 2008 · Filed Under social networking · Comment

WaynWayn (Where are you now?), a growing web 2.0 social network site has recently changed from a paid subscription a free model. Founded in 2005, it targets young single travellers and now gets 6.5 million visitors a month having grown from pulling sign ups in through Google Adwords.

WAYNE offers free international SMS messages, which proved to be the hook that fueled its growth as well as the use of viral marketing through its automatic email contact form.

A couple of lessons here:

1. Wayn may be confusing to visitors as to why they would need to use it – answer give them something they need (Free SMS) and then they’ll find other uses for the site.

2. Get your viral marketing strategies into gear
