Promoting your internet marketing products using audio and video podcasts is almost expected today. The term internet surfing is no longer valid in 2007; people looking over the internet are attracted to interaction.

The new demand in website interactivity is better known to the web programming gurus as Web 2.0. The internet is no longer a medium that attracts attention with stagnant advertising pages best designed for printed brochures. On the same hand internet users have had a belly full of crazy text and flashing pictures, these are not attention getters but visitor torture.

It is standard website promotion procedure today to take advantage of the value audio and video podcasts offer. If your business is in the interest of promoting internet marketing products it is only good sense to take your promotion to place in the path of your market. Certainly one would have very little faith in a product that did not follow or understand the importance or value of podcasting.

Certainly our websites are more attractive to visitors with the inclusion of a few well designed and cleverly targeted video or audio podcasts, but these are also an invaluable tool for driving visitors home.

Placing an interesting video on You Tube is an ideal way to advertise to a massive world audience. It’s impossible to imagine where in the world we could place a billboard advertising our internet marketing products that would be as visible as to have millions of people all over the world see it daily. Even harder to imagine would be advertising our internet marketing products to this same incredible vast number of people for free!

Naturally there are a few more tips and tricks for getting the best out of using video and podcasts to promote your internet marketing products. Most importantly if your creation comes across to an audience as a blatant advertisement, don’t expect too many folk to go “wow, I’ll go and take a look at this site”, keep in mind that people want something for nothing. Perhaps your podcast could be a “how to…” of using one of your products

Video or audio podcasts put the heart back into internet marketing.

Consumers are well aware of how easy it I to have someone create a clever web page with a few coped and pasted raves, adding a few profile pictures make them look real enough, but giving your reviewers their own voice cannot be dismissed as cheap advertising.

Audio allows your visitor to hear the excitement with expressions and depth of feeling impossible to recreate in a few written words.

Never forget the power of entertainment making your podcast interesting to an audience is like building the yellow brick road all the way to your website. Keep your visitors entertained when they drop in and you have the hits that matter.

These visitors are there because they want to be, not because a clever script tricked them into clicking, and cream on top is the fact they will come back again and even recommend your website to others.
